🎓Quarter 1 Final - Ecology and Evolution

Instructions:

This exam covers the academic content from the Introduction to Science, Ecology, Evolution, and Cell Biology Units and will include questions based on the material covered in those modules.  Blocks of questions should be in the order of the modules so those associated with the Ecology module will be towards the beginning and those associated with the Cell Biology characteristics of life module will be towards the end.

The questions are mostly multiple-choice but there may be a few multiple answers, and matching as well.  You may use your notes and the textbook while taking the exam but if you try to look up every answer, no matter how well organized your notes are, you will run out of time.   You will have an average of approximately 1.5 minutes for each question.  Some may need more time but others will need much less.  The timer is located on the right and you will get a warning when there is 1 minute remaining.  Please complete the exam on your own.  This is your opportunity to see how well you are absorbing the concepts you will need to know as you move on in the sciences so you should think of it more as a chance for self-evaluation than an exam.

In this exam, you will see one question at a time but you may go back if you skip any.  Do not submit each question, only submit your answers after you have completed the exam.

NOTE: Use Chrome as your browser when taking the exam otherwise some question images may not open correctly.  The Exam 1 images (pdf not HTML) are also available as a pdf file.

• Max Attempts:  1
• Time Limit: none but it should take you around 70 mins for this portion of the exam.
