Rendering Animation
Rendering animations can be done in a couple of ways.
- If you are rendering a fairly simple and short animation or maybe just a part of a larger animation, then use Render to Movie.
- If you are rendering a lengthy or if you are on a shared computer (like school computers) and don't have the time to render it in one sitting, then use Rendering with Image Sampling.
Rendering to Movie
Rendering to a movie is simply using Blender to render your animation as a movie file. Follow the steps in the tutorial below to render your animation:
Rendering with Image Sampling
Rendering with Image Sequencing is the preferred method for rendering out your movies that can't be done in one sitting or if you are rendering on a shared computer. The following tutorial will show you how to render still images of your frames, then put them into the Image Sequencer to make a movie.
