Photosynthesis Disc lab

We have learned about producers, specifically plants. Later in the Biology course we will learn more about plants on a cellular level. But in this Ecology section we will be introduced to photosynthesis which we've heard about. Photosynthesis (6CO₂ + 6H₂O + light --> 6O₂ + C₆H₁₂O₆ ) is how producers transform the energy of the sun into sugars which fuels our trophic levels. Without photosynthesis, all life on earth would not be possible. 

To ensure everyone understands this lab, there will be short quiz before doing this lab. Please go ahead and read the lab (that's what will be tested, not the video) and understand the purpose of each step of the lab.  Always put your lab write ups in your science notebook. Take a photo of the completed lab and upload a copy to Canvas.
