eMuseum

Congratulations!

You have made it to the end of the tri, so now it's time to sum up your artistic experience in this class by creating an eMuseum. An eMuseum is a place for you to showcase your good work from this course. 

What to do:

Create a visual eMuseum with Artsteps Links to an external site.. Artsteps is an online, virtual museum where you will show off not just the final project, but your process to get there. Your process will be documented with your Work Evidence pieces, Project Statements, and Final Project Renders. You will also add audio files to emphasize the pieces.

To complete this project:

FIRST: Create your eMusuem using the steps in the video playlist (6 short videos) below. You may use one of the pre-made galleries, or earn extra up to 10% extra points and choose to create your own. After you have created your museum, look below in the SECOND Step to see what to add to your museum.

SECOND: Add the following artifacts to your Artsteps virtual museum

• Welcome message and your name (use a text artifact to complete this) [5 points]
• Personal Artist Statement (either an image or copy and paste into a text artifact) [10 points]
• Course projects (group project elements together) [20 points/project = 80 points]
  • OPTIONAL - Progression of Work Evidence images (any working images or screenshots of projects prior to final render)
  • Final rendered image for each project
    • Project Statement added to the description field of each Final Rendered artifact OR added as a text artifact near the image
      • DO NOT include statement questions. Rewrite previously submitted statement responses as complete, thoughtful content for your eMuseum statements. Stick to the point (don't get fluffy with words) and use complete sentences and proper grammar.
    • BONUS POINTS: Add audio file of you reading the Project Statement, then add to the Final Render artifact [2 extra credit points/statement = 8]
• Create a Guided Tour [10 points]
• Aesthetically pleasing (colors, fonts, and additional supporting objects) [5 points]

THIRD: Night @ The Museum (N@tM) and summary of evening and evaluated projects.

• Description of N@tM (text artifact) - explain in your own words to someone who doesn't have a clue what the event is about [5 points]
• Summary of the event (text artifact) - your thoughts and feelings of the event as a whole [5 points]
• Add photos/screenshots of one (1) artwork that caught your attention or inspired you at N@tM [5 points] 
  • DO NOT CHOOSE A PIECE FROM ONE OF MY CLASSES
• Complete a critique and include the following in listed format (text artifact):
  • Describe the work (What does it physically look like without using value words such as "beautiful" or "ugly") [5 points]
  • Analyze (Describe how the work is organized as a complete composition) [5 points]
  • Interpret (Describe how the work makes you think or feel) [5 points]
  • Evaluate (Base your evaluation on the Elements of Art and Principles of Design) [5 points]
